GFRC / GFRG / FRP

Complex or simple, raw foam or highly dimensioned. Pre-finished for a fast installation, we provide the experience to help guide our clients to the best possible choice.

Overview

GFRC/GFRG/FRP are types of composites that layer fiberglass reinforcing mesh with concrete or gypsum over foam shapes that are either field or shop finished, depending on the project requirements. These are what allow for the simplistic or intricate finishing touches that are the highlight of any project; and at BayStone, we are thinking about them right from the beginning. Whether you are looking for elegance, shock-n-awe, classic, or modern looks we have the knowledge and technology to deliver all that you want and then some.

GFRG

Glass Fiber Reinforced Gypsum (GFRG) is a composite consisting of alpha gypsum cement and water, reinforced with glass fibers - an ideal choice as an economical, lightweight, and durable replacement for traditional plaster.

FRP

Fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP) is a composite material made up of polymer that is supported with fibers for added strength

Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC) is a very similar to GFRG but instead of reinforcing gypsum, concrete is used.
